- They Are Relevant: One reason why I chose these specific images for visual post is because they are relevant to the different topics that are being discussed in my post. As discussed in class, pairing content with relevant visuals can be effective in better sending a message to your audience, which is why all the images I used in my post I made sure was relevant to what my visual post was about. The visual post I created focuses on explaining some of the top 5 best accessories, which is why I used images that demonstrated what those accessories looked like and what their purpose was.
- Easier to Comprehend: A second reason why I chose these specific images for my visual post is because they are easy to comprehend and understand. These images clearly show the type of book accessories I am discussing in my post and will allow readers to have a better understanding of what they are, what they look like, and how they can be beneficial accessories for them to have and just do a better job of telling a story.
- Grab Attention and Evoke Imagination: A third reason why I chose these specific images for my visual post is because they grab attention and evoke imagination. Many of the images in my post clearly use vivid colors and just really stand out, Additionally, some of the images I used in my post also show the accessories being used, such as the image showing the bookends. I believe that these images are beneficial for my visual post because they help readers better picture the information that is front of them. For example, one of my images shows a bookmark that is places in between the pages of a book, which I believe will help readers who may not understand how bookmarks are used have a better understanding of how they are used and better picture what they look like. Additionally, I also believe that these images are beneficial for my post because they tell a story. Even without the short explanation under each image, I believe that if someone was to look at this post, they would still be able to have an understanding of what this post is about from simply looking at these images. Overall, these are some of the reasons why I believe the images I used in my visual post are beneficial.
